Private transfers · Anywhere in Switzerland

Private transfers
across Switzerland.

A fixed fare, a professional local driver, and none of the small failures that turn a transfer into an ordeal.

One

Clear communication

One thread with one person, from the moment you book until you are dropped off.

Two

Clear instructions

Which exit, which door, and what you will see when you reach it. In writing, before you fly.

Three

A single point of contact

If the vehicle or the driver changes, that is ours to manage. You never chase anyone.

Day excursions from Basel and Zürich

Three destinations we drive most often.

Each is close enough for a single day, and each is considerably easier without a hire car, cross-border parking or a return drive at the end of it. Select a destination to price the journey.

Frequently booked

Routes we cover most often.

Basel, Zürich, central Switzerland, the Bernese Oberland and the Saanenland, at the same rates and the same standard of service throughout. Select a route to load it into the booking form and adjust it to your party.

From enquiry to arrival

How a booking works.

Obtain your fare

Enter your points of departure and arrival. We measure the driving route and calculate the fare from it, before requesting any personal details. Adding the return leg reduces the whole journey by 10%. The figure shown is the fare; it does not change because a flight arrives early or traffic is heavy.

Time required

Under a minute

No account or card details.

Confirmation within two hours

Every request is reviewed personally. You receive the vehicle assigned, your driver's name and telephone number, and a direct line of contact for the journey. Child seats, additional stops and any special requirements are arranged at this stage.

Typical response

Under 2 hours

Reviewed by our office, not automated.

Your driver meets you on arrival

We monitor your flight number and adjust the pick-up to match, at no additional cost. Your driver meets you inside the arrivals hall with a name board and assists with your luggage.

Included

60 minutes' waiting

From touchdown, at every airport.

What the fare covers

One fare, inclusive.

The figure you are quoted is the figure you pay. We publish the exceptions rather than bury them: the list on the right is everything that could ever be added, and each one is agreed with you before you travel.

Always included
  • Meet and greet inside the arrivals hall with a name board
  • Flight monitoring, with the pick-up adjusted automatically
  • Sixty minutes' waiting at airports, fifteen minutes elsewhere
  • Baby, toddler and booster seats, fitted before pick-up
  • Motorway tolls, the Swiss motorway vignette and airport parking
  • VAT and the driver's time; gratuities are not expected
  • Wheelchair assistance and accessible boarding
  • Free cancellation up to 24 hours before pick-up
Added only by prior agreement
  • An additional stop en route - CHF 25, agreed before you confirm
  • Ski, snowboard and bicycle carriage - available on request, subject to vehicle availability
  • Pick-ups between 22:00 and 06:00 - a 15% surcharge, shown on the fare before you book
  • Waiting beyond the included period - CHF 45 per hour, charged in quarter-hours
  • A second vehicle, where the party and luggage exceed the capacity of one

There is no booking fee, card surcharge or service charge.

What actually makes the difference

Transfers fail on the small things.

Almost every transfer is sold on price, and almost every one that goes wrong goes wrong for the same three reasons: nobody told you where to meet, the driver changed and nobody told you that either, and there was no one to ask. We built this service around those three failures.

Booked through a price comparison site
A driver's telephone number, and a driver who may be reassigned more than once before you travel.
No guidance on where to meet. You discover the arrangement at the barrier, in a terminal you have never used.
Priced to be the cheapest. Everything after the price is improvised.
A support queue, in a time zone that is not yours, if anything goes wrong.
Booked with Catterfly
One named contact from booking to arrival. If the vehicle or the driver changes, that is ours to manage, not yours to track.
The exact exit, the meeting point and what you will see when you reach it, in writing before you fly.
The full fare quoted in advance, tolls and waiting included, then the journey planned properly.
A person in Switzerland who answers, by telephone or WhatsApp, throughout.

Basel EuroAirport has two exits, in two countries.

The airport stands on French soil and has separate Swiss and French arrival sectors. Passengers who walk out of the wrong one find themselves in a different country from their driver, who then needs a ten-kilometre detour to reach them. It is not written on your ticket and it is not in any booking confirmation. It is exactly the kind of thing you only know if you live here, and exactly the kind of thing that turns a ninety-minute transfer into an afternoon.

We tell you which sector, before you fly

One point of contact

The same person from the moment you book until you are dropped off. You are never asked to chase a driver.

Instructions, not assumptions

Which exit, which door, what you will see, and how long you may wait. Written down, before you travel.

Eighteen years here

We know which terminal, which sector and which road, because we use them ourselves. Local knowledge is mostly knowing what goes wrong.

The fare, in full, in advance

Tolls, vignette, parking, VAT and waiting time are inside the quoted figure. Nothing is added at the kerb.

Your flight, watched

Early, late or diverted, the pick-up moves with the aircraft and the waiting time is already paid for.

Licensed and insured

Professional Swiss chauffeurs holding commercial passenger licences, with full passenger insurance.

Before you book

Questions we get asked most.

How is the fare calculated?

The fare is based on the road distance between your two points and on the vehicle required. Booking the return leg at the same time reduces the total by 10%. This page applies the same calculation as our office, so the figure shown is the figure we quote.

Is the price per person or per car?

Per vehicle. The fare for a given route and vehicle class is the same regardless of the number of passengers; the party size and luggage determine only which vehicle is assigned.

What if my flight is delayed?

No action is required from you. We monitor the flight number provided and adjust the pick-up automatically. Airport collections include sixty minutes' waiting from touchdown; other pick-ups include fifteen minutes.

May we stop en route?

Yes. Add an additional stop when booking, or describe it in the notes, and we will confirm the cost before you commit to the journey.

Do you drive outside Switzerland?

Yes. Europa-Park, Colmar and the Alsace wine route, and Freiburg and the Black Forest are regular destinations, and further cross-border journeys can be arranged. Foreign tolls and vignettes are included in the fare.

When and how is payment made?

After the vehicle is confirmed, never before. Payment may be made by card, bank transfer or in cash with the driver. There is no booking fee and no charge for requesting a fare.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation is free of charge up to 24 hours before pick-up. Within 24 hours, 50% of the fare is payable, and non-arrivals are charged in full.

Can you carry skis, snowboards or bicycles?

Ski, snowboard and bicycle carriage is available on request and is confirmed case by case, as it depends on the vehicle available for your journey. Please indicate your requirements when booking. Wheelchair assistance is provided at no charge.
