Pedal through the picturesque landscapes of Alsace on the Alsace Vineyard Cycle Route, a scenic 131.5-kilometre cycling route that runs alongside the famous Alsace Wine Route. Following peaceful country lanes, former railway lines and sections of the historic Roman Road, the route winds through rolling vineyards, medieval villages, castles and some of the region’s most beautiful wine-growing landscapes. 

The route can be enjoyed at your own pace, with plenty of opportunities to stop for village walks, wine tastings, local food and panoramic views. Depending on your chosen section, cycle through charming places such as Obernai, Barr, Mittelbergheim, Dambach-la-Ville, Ribeauvillé, Riquewihr, Colmar and Eguisheim. The route is divided into five stages, stretching from Marlenheim in the north to Thann in the south, making it easy to tailor the experience to your itinerary and interests.
